Michele De Lucchi was born in Ferrara in 1951 and studied architecture in Florence. During the years of radical and experimental architecture, he was a prominent figure in establishing design movements such as Cavart, Alchymia and Memphis and designed lamps and interior design items for some of the best-known Italian and European companies. Alberto Nason was born in Venice in 1972. Following his experience at the "Option One" design studio in London, he studied at the European Design Institute of Milan and graduated in industrial design in 1996. After a year in Germany, where he worked at the "Eckart & Barski" design studio in Frankfurt, Alberto Nason gained specific technical and creative skills that he will have the opportunity to use when he worked for the architect Michele De Lucchi, in 1997.
