The Phantom Mirror by FIAM Italia is a striking fusion of art and function, designed by Dante O. Benini, Luca Gonzo, and Helidon Xhixha. It transforms the traditional concept of a mirror into a sculptural masterpiece that plays with light, reflection, and distortion.

Inspired by the metaphor of “The Phantom of the Opera”, the mirror embodies a duality: harmony and obscurity, beauty and distortion. Its surface juxtaposes a flat reflective plane with undulating, fused glass edges, creating a dramatic interplay between clarity and abstraction.

The result is a mirror that not only reflects but also reshapes its surroundings, offering a dynamic and theatrical presence in any space. Crafted from 6 mm high-temperature fused glass, back-silvered for brilliance.

ABOUT THE BRAND

Fiam Italia is an iconic Italian brand celebrated for transforming glass into stunning, sculptural furniture.
"FIAM Italia has always been the lateral thinking of glass. We view a material, that is commonly perceived to be solid and unchangeable, in its liquid and malleable state. In doing so, we have changed the concept of the material, shaping it to give it an unexpected three-dimensional aspect, made possible by in-house production processes that combine craftsmanship and technical innovation."
