The Reverso is a design object as much as a mirror. Conceived by Marzia and Leo Dainelli for FIAM Italia, it is built from 6 mm welded glass with a distinctive central glass element that contrasts with the surrounding mirrored planes. The piece deliberately fragments and multiplies viewpoints: the angled mirrored surfaces reflect subjects from several perspectives, producing an ironic and playful visual effect that changes with the viewer’s position.

Reverso’s signature is its geometry. The frame is not a simple border but a series of slanted mirror planes that redirect light and sightlines, so a single object or person can be seen from multiple angles within the same composition. This makes the mirror especially effective in entryways, living rooms, or dining areas where movement and changing light amplify its kinetic quality.

ABOUT THE BRAND

Fiam Italia is an iconic Italian brand celebrated for transforming glass into stunning, sculptural furniture.
"FIAM Italia has always been the lateral thinking of glass. We view a material, that is commonly perceived to be solid and unchangeable, in its liquid and malleable state. In doing so, we have changed the concept of the material, shaping it to give it an unexpected three-dimensional aspect, made possible by in-house production processes that combine craftsmanship and technical innovation."
