Since 1962, Taccia lamp is a fundamental accessory for our homes.
This “modus operandi” has inspired Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, who have created Taccia lamp for Flos in 1962, still very appreciated and modern. Taccia is a table lamp that can be used as a floor lamp too thanks to a stable and solid support.
The dimensions of this lamp are small so that it can be placed on any kind of surface or room.
The base is nickel-plated ABS+PC, extruded aluminium body and transparent diffuser made of mouth-blown glass.
The element that has been determining the success of this lamp, making it still one of the most desired items in Italian homes, is the support, in which is hidden the luminous source.
This support is made of extruded metal with protrusions that improve the diffusion of the lamp heat, giving it a look similar to that of Greek columns and therefore very elegant and particular. On the cable there is an electric dimmer that enables to regulate the intensity of the light to create the desired atmosphere.
